Resin vulcanizing agents are mainly some thermosetting alkylphenol resins and epoxy resins. Vulcanizing unsaturated carbon chain rubber and butyl rubber with alkyl phenolic resin can significantly improve the heat resistance of vulcanizates. Commonly used main varieties are phenol formaldehyde resins, such as tert-butylphenol formaldehyde resin and tert-octylphenol formaldehyde resin. Epoxy resin has good vulcanization effect on carboxyl rubber and neoprene rubber, and its vulcanization rubber has good flex resistance.
