The certification reports for silicone raw materials are (ROHS, halogen, PAHS, REACH, FDA, LFGB, MSDS, USP, NSF, UL yellow card, etc.). Now the more authoritative certification bodies include SGS, TUV, CE and other organizations.

1. The ROHS report is an environmental report, which mainly detects six heavy metals: lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)), polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers ( PBDEs).

2. Halogen detection includes (fluorine (F), chlorine (CI), bromine (Br), iodine (I)).

3. PAHs mainly detect polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) are volatile hydrocarbons produced when organic matter such as coal, petroleum, wood, tobacco, and organic macromolecules are incompletely burned. They are important environmental and food pollutants. There are more than 200 kinds of PAHs, of which quite a few are carcinogenic, such as benzoαpyrene, benzoαanthracene and so on. PAHs are widely distributed in the environment and can be found in every corner of our lives. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons may be produced in any place where organic matter is processed, discarded, burned or used

4. REACH is different from the RoHS directive, and the scope of REACH is much wider. The number of tests has now increased to 168, which is the abbreviation of the EU regulations "REGULATION concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals" (REGULATION concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals). It was established by the European Union and was established on June 1, 2007. The chemical regulatory system implemented from Japan. In fact, it will affect the products and manufacturing processes of almost all industries, from mining to textiles and garments, light industry, electromechanical, etc. This is a proposal for regulations concerning the production, trade, and use safety of chemicals. The regulations aim to protect human health and the environment. Safe, maintain and improve the competitiveness of the EU chemical industry, and the innovative ability to develop non-toxic and harmless compounds, prevent market fragmentation, increase transparency in the use of chemicals, promote non-animal experiments, and pursue sustainable social development. REACH has established the concept that society should not introduce new materials, products or technologies if their potential hazards are unknown.

5. The tests done by FDA/LFGB for non-food drugs are mainly food contact materials. FDA is a food certification report in the United States, LFGB is a food certification report in the European Union, and FDA/LFGB are two completely different standard.

6. MSDS report refers to the chemical safety specification, also known as the material safety factor table, the chemical safety technical specification and the chemical safety data specification.

7. The USP certification report refers to the medical grade report, the United States Pharmacopeia (USP)-Overview of the organization The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) sets quality standards for prescription and over-the-counter drugs, food supplements and other health products, and cooperates with health care organizations to help them achieve standard. Since its establishment 185 years ago, these standards have been contributed to all parts of the world to ensure access to high-quality pharmaceutical services.

8. NSF certification (National Sanitation Foundation) is an independent, non-profit non-governmental organization established in 1944. NSF specializes in standard setting, product testing and certification services in the fields of public health, safety and environmental protection, and is an authoritative organization in the field of public health and safety.
