Mixed silicone rubber is mainly divided into precipitated silica gel, gas-phase silica gel and sulfur-containing silica gel. For the selection of small silica gel manufacturers, sulfur-containing silica gel is the most economical and affordable, while the quality of gas-phase silica gel is the best.
In addition, no matter what type of blended silicone rubber is, the higher the utilization ratio, the lower the cost. The utilization ratio=the net weight of silicone products/the weight of raw materials put into production. However, if it is precipitated silica gel, because it is not subject to rubber mixing treatment, it can be produced only after adding vulcanizing agent and color through manual rubber mixing, and then putting it into the mold through manual cutting.
However, from the perspective of aesthetics, sulfur and color adding silica gel is the most beautiful. Sulfur and color adding silica gel can be configured according to the actual product needs of users. For example, we want the color of red silica gel raw material, purple silica gel raw material, blue silica gel raw material and so on to be 1:1 personalized, and the color similarity can reach more than 95%, and the manufacturer can directly provide the user with the product after mixing.
Some silica gel products factories will choose to independently mix rubber and purchase their own color, which is calculated according to the amount of materials used. Because if you want to make your own independent rubber mixing, you need to purchase the opening mixer and the corresponding labor costs of rubber mixing workers. If the material consumption is more than 1 ton a day, then self-mixing can save production costs. If the material consumption is not large, then it is obviously beneficial to purchase sulfur and color added silica gel directly.
This is the general way to select materials for mixing silicone rubber, and the specific selection should be considered according to the strength of the factory.
