In addition, long-chain alkyl aryl silicone oil can also be used as a base oil for high lubricity silicone grease, for lubrication in small machinery, plastic gears, and rolling systems.
2. Cosmetics field
Long chain alkyl aryl silicone oil is widely used in high-end hair oils, hair conditioners, lipsticks, lipstick, etc. It can be used as brightening additives, hydrophobic agents, lubricants, smoothing agents, etc. It can give cosmetics excellent skin care, hydrophobic breathability, oxidation resistance, UV protection, softness, smoothness, anti stickiness, etc. All properties are greatly superior to ordinary dimethyl silicone oil and phenyl silicone oil.
3. Defoamer field
Long chain alkyl aryl silicone oil defoamers can be applied in fields such as fermentation, food processing, medical, textile, petroleum, synthetic rubber and resin, coatings, and inks. Due to its good affinity for organic materials, long chain alkyl aryl silicone oil defoamers will not affect the post processing performance of the product; However, its surface tension increases with the increase of carbon chains, leading to a decrease in defoaming performance and an increase in printability. Therefore, it is important to choose an appropriate carbon chain length.
